Drivers and installing Windows XP , Windows 2000
Solution After installing your operating system, click on your manufacturer's logo to find the correct drivers for your notebook.
On the bottom side of your notebook locate the model TAG. (e.g.. Dell Inspiron 3500 service TAG : CS30T) or model ID (e.g. IBM ThinkPad model 2645-5BU) if one is not present, you can find the correct drivers by simply selecting the appropriate model.
Select your operating system and download the required drivers. Most notebooks only require the general drivers, video, audio and modem, however you may download and install additional drivers to enhance performance.
